Today we spend on the western side of the Osa Peninsula. After breakfast we go ashore at a small beach in front of a private reserve. Here there are a couple of nice trails to get into this lowland tropical rain forest for our first chance to see the flora and fauna. We will outline the options at the end of breakfast. Those signed up for horseback riding will leave from the same location. For those wishing to swim there is a nice long sandy beach a few hundred meters down the coast from where we land. Be prepared for a wet landing on the beach in the morning as sometimes there can be surf rolling in from the open ocean. You will have time to change shoes for walking on the trails.
